Karma and King brought double the charm to my studio for their recent dog photography session! Karma, a stunning black Labrador Retriever, earned her place in the spotlight by winning Alabama’s Cutest Canine Competition in January. With her sleek coat, soulful eyes, and undeniable presence, it’s easy to see why she stole so many hearts. But this time, she wasn’t alone—her handsome brother King, a spirited Vizsla, joined in on the fun.

From the moment they walked into the studio, their personalities shined. Karma was cool, collected, and effortlessly photogenic. Whether sitting gracefully or flashing a playful grin, she made capturing the perfect shot almost too easy. King, on the other hand, brought boundless energy and a touch of mischief. True to his breed, he was curious about everything, from my camera to the treat stash, and showed off his signature vizsla zoomies in between poses.

One of my favorite moments for both of them had to be their hilarious peanut butter shots. At one point, we gave up completely and just let King eat straight from the jar! It was cracking us all up during the session and will likely remain one of my favorite photos for the foreseeable future.

Photographing dogs like Karma and King is exactly why I love what I do. Every dog has a unique personality, and my goal is to capture it in a way that feels authentic to them.
