Jay Mo Mo, the dashing miniature schnauzer, has once again stolen the show during his Mother’s Day “Mom and Me” mini session. Having photographed him several times before at Top Dog Birmingham, I already knew he was as sweet as he is handsome. But this time, I had the pleasure of meeting his mom, and it was easy to see where all that love and charm come from.

Dressed to impress in his signature blue plaid bowtie, Jay Mo Mo brought his A-game to the studio. In one shot, he rocked a pair of sunglasses with effortless cool, his serious personality shining through. He looked every bit the celebrity pup he is, exuding confidence and charisma. Another favorite moment featured him surrounded by oversized tennis balls, his tongue out and tail wagging, perfectly capturing his fun-loving side.

The highlight of the session, though, was seeing Jay Mo Mo with his mom. Their bond was undeniable—her radiant smile and his happy, trusting gaze were a joy to photograph. Whether she was holding him close or laughing as he posed like a pro, every image reflected their deep connection. It was clear that Jay Mo Mo is not just a pet but a beloved member of the family.

Capturing moments like these is what I love most about photography. Jay Mo Mo, you’re a superstar, and your mom is just as wonderful! I can’t wait for the next time you’re in front of my lens. Until then, keep being the sweet and stylish pup we all adore!
